SF there’s a user on VQ who has been correct so far about the firing and hiring of the AD, saying that we have a coach and will be announced by tmmrw. Can you confirm?

Well, UT football has been sickening and embarrassing, so if this happens, I won’t be too surprised.

If we can’t get an experienced and talented coach, one who will stay and succeed 8-10 years, I would MUCH rather have Steele as interim for a year, let the dust settle, and get a keeper, than to get a maybe guy that we have to pay off in 3 years.

Nah man, this is brilliant actually. You hire Elliott for one quarter, Sykes for the next, Franklin for the 3rd, and then fire them all during the 4th, thus keeping Steele as interim, but really he’s also the head coach too. It’s called having your cake, and eating it too.
