Honestly, this wasn’t the perfect hire, but few are. What I do know is if he brings Lebby, our offenses should be better then we have seen in the past 15 years. I think he is better then any hire we have had since Fulmer and if he keeps Steele and gets Gardner, I think we will have a really good staff.

In other words, not a hire we all love, but I am happier with this then others and we should at least have a fun offense to watch

Is this equivalent to the Butch hire on paper? Worse? With the added embarrassment of a new AD immediately poaching his last coach.

It’s not who I would have hired and who we get for DC will be of utmost importance but let’s let this play out... better than Pruitt also.

He wins here if he can recruit and hire a good DC. We've been burned in the past, but this isn't Butch or Dooley we're talking about here.

Well, it has been a fun show that has taken too many hours from my work. Not sure what I am going to waste time on now. I will probably drop out of VN for a couple of weeks while everyone gripes about our new coach.

If they did that and didn't talk to Kiffin then our AD isn't any good.

If he gets a good DC and it may be Steele and he brings in a top OC that he has a history with and he hires coaches that can coach and he lets them do it this could be a good deal all the way around but time will tell.

This happened on the timeline I was given (off by around 12 hours). Never knew the name. There was a bunch of BS thrown around the last few days too.
