Thank you SF for a great read. I started in this thread at 5 and just finished. You hit on what was going on before the fact. Some people want to nitpick every little detail and build themselves up by tearing other down. You have provided an admirably service to this board and to myself.
Who know who will get the job, but it has been the least Tennessee of Tennessee coaching searches I remember. It may all fall apart, but that's not on you.

I agree totally. I live in Nashville and saw and heard it every day. He also has this little act he puts on that I always thought was way to sneaky and was not very sincere..... ever. Really big on Crocodile Tears. Trust me I am in no way advocating him for a coach or anything else for that matter.

I just remember Franklin recruiting and saying "Why would you want to go to some established place and add to someone else's legacy? Come to Vandy and make your own" ... then goes to Penn State.

I find it interesting that SF has been a member since 2017 but his first post was 12/6/2020 . If all accounts are correct that would actually lead me to believe that SF ( COULD ) be DW ? I mean NO ONE. bats a 1000%. It could also be said that SF is passing out nuggets from DW. The 40 million thrown out earlier would help ease the pain say if #1 walked away and we brought in TE. The only place that Fleck was mentioned was in the Football Scoop article. Then a Minneapolis radio show host said this morning that Fleck was taking the job, based solely off of that article. Fleck probably felt forced to reaffirm his commitment to Minnesota. I highly doubt that he was the “big fish.”

Yeah, Franklin and his shenanigans didn’t stop in Nashville, he’s covered up stuff in Penn St too. I’m not sure if the lawsuits were settled or not but did some more coverups for Micah Parsons. Stuff Franklin has done makes recruiting violations look like peanuts. Seriously doubt Plowman or Boyd would agree to that after saying integrity mattered.

I’d still go all in on Stoops, then Napier.
