The only place that Fleck was mentioned in as in the Football Scoop article. Then a Minneapolis radio show host said this morning that Fleck was taking the job, based solely off of that article. Fleck probably felt forced to reaffirm his commitment to Minnesota. I highly doubt that he was the “big fish.”
Yeah, Franklin and his shenanigans didn’t stop in Nashville, he’s covered up stuff in Penn St too. I’m not sure if the lawsuits were settled or not but did some more coverups for Micah Parsons. Stuff Franklin has done makes recruiting violations look like peanuts. Seriously doubt Plowman or Boyd would agree to that after saying integrity mattered.
I’d still go all in on Stoops, then Napier.
ADs always have irons in the fire.So if Fleck is putting the word out that he is staying, does that mean he was the big fish??
Please don't lump me in with the conspiracy nut-job crowd. I was just answering a question. I spoke with some friends who attended the game, and they did not see him there. My gosh, you guys are making it out like this dude walks into a room and announces himself as, White, Danny White. I think we have had so many incompetent, completely disastrous coaching searches over the years, that we don’t know what a normal, professionally run search looks like, so we are adding conspiracy and mystery to this one.
GBO!!
This is what Callahan 247 put out.My take on the Fleck thing is them folks in Minnesota had their cart not even near the horse.
Still think it’s more than One big fish, don’t think Fleck was the only one. Never know, UT May up the offer to Fleck. It at least shows going after BIG names.I know Tennessee called and Fleck's side picked up the phone and listened.
I'm skeptical that Fleck would want to inherit that situation with the NCAA sanctions and the roster turnover in the SEC.
I also expect Tennessee to hire someone here in the next 72 hours or so, but at this time, I don't expect it to be PJ Fleck.
He put some money in his Gold Coast place. If you look at the UT airplane route today on another thread it is interesting, to Orlando and then to Jacksonville. Doesn’t Bob Stoops live in Jacksonville?
