You realize Elliott missed that game for testing positive for Covid. Thats a major reason the offensive play calling was out of sync. I am not pro Elliott but if coaching search continues down the list then I would take him over Dykes and Steele if it gets to that. His upside is higher than either of those 2.

I’d take Chatwell, Elliott, or Leipold first. I’m not thrilled with them but I could mold them. Dykes is an air raid (defense optional) coach that will stick us at 5-7 until we move on. I’d rather go with Steele.

I was reading a few post by Atlanta VOL and he seems to think that DW is the real deal and knows exactly what he is doing and that NOBODY knows but a very select few. As far as the media people he said Chris Lowe is the most connected but his sources are basically not in the loop right now either. With that being said I don't think that the original target has said no and I think they are still working out the fine print. If we lose hope we have nothing left so I'll just hope for the best and wait for the official word and believe that the people making the calls are doing whats best for the VOLS.

Yeah but what can he do with lesser talent? Can he effectively lead while the program is under scrutiny? That’s my only question but with that being said he’s a better pick than Dykes, shoot I’d go after sumlin or rich rod before him

I think he wants more than 15 mins, I think he wants the coach to go ahead and talk to him, and I also think he wants to absolutely surprise them, maybe that’s the reason he keeps it to a small circle

Yeah I am not pro Elliott as I mentioned but he is a who knows. Till he is the head man we dont know what his ceiling or floor is.

It would be great. Just don’t know if it’s possible to pull it off (maintaining the secrecy and surprise) in this day and age.

But the reaction gifs could be great.

Maybe they all walk in to the presser at the same time, New Coach, Team and AD.
