At this point, put in a contract part of the compensation is a Harley and all the coeds required to satisfy any carnal desires and send it to Petrino. If that doesn't work get Charlie Strong in here and clean up the contract.

1. Chavis-rebuild & recruit D + unite fanbase (somewhat)
2. Fisher-biggest name left
3. Patterson-next biggest
4. Tressel-good coach (bad baggage)
5. Petrino-(worse baggage)
First alternate-Strong (if we're gonna give a second tier a shot, I guess he's as good as any)

Have u seen the pic of him right after the bike wreck with his mistress? NCAA violations are not viewed the same as infidelity and personal issues, IMO anyway. I think most average fans think every coach and major university gives "benefits" to top players......they just dont get caught. I think Petrino would have a harder time convincing parents to trust him with their child. Again this is just my opinion. With that said, I do believe these are the 2 best COACHING CANDIDATES, but they will face obvious issues with fanbase as well as recruits.

I know this may be a strange name but watching the bronco game today, would jack del rio be interested in being head coach at TN

2. Saban
3. Miles
4. Meyer
5. Petrino
6. Fisher
7. etc. (I will support whoever we hire from here, but will treat them as another Dooley. I'll believe in the wins when I see them.)

Don't know about Del Rio but I hope the AD looks outside the box. Frankly, not really excited about the names currently being bandied about.

Let me add that if we hire Tressel, then I will NOT be behind the hire as I will be on pins a needles waiting on the NCAA hammer to be laid down. :salute:
