Fedora's claim to fame is that he got Southern Miss to 10-2 last year and after he left, Southern Miss went 0-12 this year. UNC was 8-4 this year. Overall his record is 42-23. So it could be said that he's an up and comer.
Golden took a Temple team that makes UK look like world beaters and got them to 9-4 and 8-4 his last two years there, but he has done squat at Miami.
So I would take Fedora over Golden, but both are down the list.
These are good points, and like you said I hope they are far down the list. My problem is we are in a desperate time as a program. If Larry Fedora, who in 4 seasons in the CUSA won it once and only won more than 8 games once, is the answer our AD comes up with it's pathetic. Giving up 68 points to Georgia Tech is another thing. Then Golden. Yea, he did a nice job building Temple. But it's the MAC. I know he's had some tough hands dealt to him, but 40-45 as a head coach is supposed to come here and resurrect our program? Get real. Idk how anyone could support either hire after what our program has been through.
