Why do you guys keep saying he lost to Dooley? Tennessee's vast talent differential beat Cincinnati, not anything Dooley did. Dooley did less with more than anybody in the nation....let's give Butch a chance. Not my first choice either, but we are stuck with. Let's just hope Sunseri is gone...I can't stand another year of that defense.

Would much rather had had Willie Taggart. Harbaugh/Stanford background plays and teaches tough hard nose football. Very young energetic and the players would love him. Maybe Butch does ok but Taggart would have built something special here. It's getting harder and harder to get excited about anything related to UT sports.

The man hasen't coached a game yet and ya'll are already selling out on him, geezzz.
Give the man a chance for God's sake. Is he who i wanted, not really but dang people. Lets get behind him and his staff, besides if we can support Dooley then we can definately support Jones. At least he has a winning record. One final thought, let's not blame him, blame Hamilton for this mess.

I disagree. Hamilton doesn't have anything to do with this hire. Dooley, yes. but not this one. Hart has had since last year's Kentucky game to work on this.

this one is on Hart and Cheek.

The real fans will support him atleast he wasnt scared to come yo sec ( see gundy and strong) give him chance already a 5 star recruit is saying he is happy jones was hired

Give Coach Jones a chance, we can't take a step backwards, we're are far back as we can go. He may not be a big name, but none of the big names in football today started out big. Go Vols...........Orange till I die.....Hope it's not soon.
