I am in the same boat. 2 things about him makes me think it will be a good hire.

1. He wants to be here so much he turned down 3 other jobs at the chance of being hired here.

2. He obviously knew where he was on the list and knew that those in front of him would likely say no. Looks like he was right all along.

We should give the guy a chance.

It is a bad day when the shoe co. direct who you can hire. Just an observation just noticed over the past few years the coach hired is from another Adidas school.

If he brings his ragtag band of reject coaches, we are ****ed. His staff at Cincy is not impressive. His D coordinator is a GA bulldog washout. His staff desperately needs a makeover.

Thats the problem we just accept the cheapest up and commer they throw out there..Hope the idiots enjoy all thee empty seats.At least Alabama had a commitment to wining.Fire Hart and Cheek ASAP.

Currently @ 9-3 Cinci's recruiting class is #54 with NO Four*s
Last year they were #50 with NO FOUR*s
Year before last they were #49 with 1 FOUR*
Year before that they were #59 wtih 1 FOUR *

TWO Four*'s in the past four years...

No one knows how well this guy will do. No where near my first choice either but I have decided to get behind him and support him. The AD no longer has my support. He botched this search in many different ways. The fact that he tried to do it all on his own says all I need to know.

what a terrible way to wake up on a Friday......ive got too much orange in me to not give the guy a chance but he lost to freakin Dooley!!! i mean come on...out of all the names, this guy had to be last on the list. sooooooo sad. WE SUCK AGAIN

Why did Arkansas, Kentucky, and Auburn all seem to have "out of nowhere" hires?

It seemed like those hires were done behind closed doors.

Is it just me or does it seem like that our coaching search is not behind closed doors and the media is on pace with what Hart is really doing... and all the "insiders" stuff was just "ideas"?

He has beaten Charlie Strong in 2 of his 3 years at UC...

He has a total record of 50-27...

He has only had one losing season and it was because everyone left when KElly left...

If we hire a great Defensive staff, we could compete immediately...

We need to support whoever dons the orange and white, and give them a chance.

At least he has a winning record in coaching andhas been a winner everywhere he has been.

Two things. First, Larry has posted that UT extended an offer and Jones has accepted. PC sometime around midday I suspect. I hope the Vol nation will now put away everything else and get behind the man.

For many, he's something of an unknown, but perhaps this short video will serve as an introduction. Well worth the watch.

Check Charlie strong class, not any better

Notice he still wins regardless. Hire good staff to recruit and we will b fine
