He's 50-27 as a head coach, with conference championships in the 3 of his 6 years as a head coach. Might not be the hire that the fans wanted, but he's done very well for himself thus far. This isn't a Dooley 2.0 hire, that's for damn sure.

Just because he wants to be here doesn't mean he'll win and I just don't see him doing it.If people in front of me for a job with huge amounts of money available turn it down I'm going go start questioning why.

Butch Jones to be announced today. DD was fired because he did not have any Marquee wins. LOL! Now we are hiring a guy that could not beat the guy we fired. Jones has won at Cincinnati but WHERE is his Marquee wins, or win? Fire AD Hart. Hire someone as AD that gives a damn about our program Phil Fulmer!!! He may not be our Coach, but who bleeds orange more. In three years he may hit a home run in our next hire, not the single or double that has been delivered to us.

honestly if they would have came out and said we ether fire Dooley and start over or hire butchg jones the majority of the fans would have said lets keep Dooley
