Regardless of how you feel about CCM, it appears UT is destined for another NIT season with more talent than they have had in several years. Does Cuonzo get fired this year? Who are legitimate candidates to replace him? #BringbackBruce

Has to make the NCAA tourney with the talent on this team. Otherwise, no season tickets will be sold next year

That's why he's safe this year. Ticket sales won't show up till next year. They'll give him one more year.

Basketball will be on the backburner until football can refill the AD coffers. At least that's how I see it. It sucks, because I love basketball more than football. I just don't see us taking on another buyout with the financial status of the AD right now.

Check the intramural teams. Bet you $100 there is a kid that knows how to attack a zone and a 2-2-1 press.

I saw some freshman girls from middle TN last night that were beating a mean looking 2-2-1 press consistently. Maybe get a few of them to coach.

and let me be clear, I support Zo because he's coaching my Vols. I will support him until he no longer coaches my Vols. I don't believe he can get the job done, though.

I stopped the game early in the game and asked my littlest son what we should do. He knew. I gave him options, but he knew middle of the court was the best one. When I asked him what player should be there, he said #52 "cause his is aggressive".
That was early in the game by a 7 yr old. McRae never saw the middle and we never attacked it from there until 58 seconds in the game.

What rankles is that we all know Bruce would have taken this team into Wichita and kicked ass. He built his reputation at UT on knocking off ranked teams even with underwhelming talent. Conversely, Cuonzo is becoming known for just the opposite; taking a talented team on the road and getting his hat handed to him. With the roster we have now, getting excited about this team should be easy. Unfortunately, there's no excitement to be found, mostly because of the "leadership". Mediocrity does not inspire me to buy tickets. Cuonzo's days are numbered.

Yeah he did a good job beating them in the tourney
