I'm 90% sure if we get a new coach, it'll be a unknown guy who the fan base will be pissed about.

I bet a large number of fans would take Bruce back in a heartbeat!

We can want in one and well you get the picture. Bruce isnt coming back, that ship sailed. Marshall was overlooked by hammy when Martin was hired so he may give UT the cold shoulder if they come calling. Smart at VCU would maybe consider the job but im not sure how seriously. There is the gonzaga coach I know hes a long shot but I believe he would be more inclinded to at least hear dave hart out more than any of the others listed above if the money is right. Pearl is going to be at the top of alot of schools list this spring including Memphis and it really wouldnt shock me if hes coaching the tigers next fall.

Not true. I'm an avid CBJ supporter. Martin has had his time and proven he can't get it done.

Saying you want CBJ fired is way to premature, saying you want CCM fired is right on schedule. Program has slid down hill more and more ever since his first press conference

Gregg Marshall would have this program rolling right now...why we passed over him for Cuzo just baffles me...then again it was the same mindset that elected a total failure to the presidency the last 2 times...

Easier to build a basketball program than a football program...This is year 3, He is loaded with talent...If he doesn't make the tourney this season he is gone...The AD will have no choice.

With the talent Cuonzo has this year, there is absolutely no excuse for not making the tournament. This is the most talented team that has been at UT in a long time or possible ever. I don't think there are some that don't want to hear this but Bruce would have this team undefeated right now and a lock for the tourney. For that matter, Bruce took lesser talented teams to the tournament every year he was here and one of those included the team that was one shot away from making it to the final four.:twocents:

Side note: for the record, I do know that Bruce isn't coming back.:p

Until boosters such as Grunfeld and Houston have a say in this conversation with Hart, CCM will still be the coach.

He also did a marvelous job of getting us into the Elite 8 for the 1st time in history as well didn't he? SMH........

Also did a magnificent job at turning a minor violation into a major violation, costing him his job and dragging UT through the mud. Kudos to him.

Regardless of how you feel about CCM, it appears UT is destined for another NIT season with more talent than they have had in several years. Does Cuonzo get fired this year? Who are legitimate candidates to replace him? #BringbackBruce

Regardless of who the replacement coach is, I am sure it will be the person who is the absolute last on the list that Hart has.

After no one else wanted the job, Hart went all the way down to the 10th person that the media had talked about and then he hit paydirt.

The media had mentioned 9 other coaching candidates before they mentioned Martin.

Once I heard his name, I realized that he would be our next coach "Wade Houston part # 2"

Hart wasn't employed at UT when CCM was hired.

At least Wade Houston brought Allen Houston With him. Cuonzo is more like Kevin O'neil version 2. Their coaching styles are very similar in that they are hard to watch and they don't win enough games to get to the NCAA tournament. I miss pearl...

The Wade Houston 2.0 statements are just ignorant. Houston had a year where he won single digit games. Not even close.

UT and the attorneys that were supposed to represent Pearl did a good job of hanging him to twist in the wind.
