There is a thread over in the FF about Larry Scott interviewing at USF and FAU. I would avoid FAU like the plague.

Whomever Kansas' recruiter is should be fired. Or as a very minimum, given a map to show where Coffeeville and Garden City CC's are. Those two programs produce some good JUCO talent and should be an easy get.

They may produce talent but Kansas isn't anything kids will ever jump to. It's a terrible example but if a guy like Charlie Weiss couldn't get a good Offense I doubt anyone will.

To piggyback off what you said it may have a lot to do with all the resources being tied to basketball because they don't believe they'll ever be a football school

There was a time folks said the same about a program (which had the worst record in 'AA (FBS) history) just down the road a ways in Manhattan. Then in '89 the AD hired Iowa's OC

As cited in other thread. It is being reported Kiffin will be hired at Houston, pending approval by University president.
