Coaching Rankings.

Ive already told you that if this document appears then I will gladly admit that I was wrong........

And I've told you where to find it. Although, I'm about to the point I'm more than willing to go over there Monday morning and request a copy of it. Opinions are one thing, blatant blind ignorance/stupidity is another.

Are you this intentionally dense? Divorce trials are public. Think it might have gotten a little bit of coverage if Pearl had been party to a trial? I think it's a pretty sound guess. How is the only other way to get divorced? Through settlement. I realize adding one and one here might be difficult for you, but I have faith you can piece it together.

Once again, i have never disputed that BP got a divorce. What i have disputed is posters claiming as fact that he cheated on his wife which has not been proven by any sources or documantation. Either your not reading my posts,or your comprehension skills are comparable to a third grader ...

Then you're beyond help. Just keep thinking wishing it weren't will make it so. That's a nice five year old way to go through life.

Ok let me attempt to make this easier for you.

1. Either Pearl cheated and wanted to settle this without making an affair known
or
2. Pearl wanted to cover up something else so horrible that he paid a ton of alimony to keep that from being known
or
3. Pearl was actually not at fault and the judge was probably just an anti-Semite trying to screw him by making him pay ridiculous amounts of alimony to a woman who doesn't really need it

I'm just trying to remember the last time I heard a story about a couple being married 25 years, divorcing for "irreconcilable differences", and then him proposing to someone else just over a year later.

I wasn't even going to bring that up. How lucky is Ole Bruce? He just suddenly finds true love shortly after his faultless divorce. How fortunate.

I would say after a year he was lonely and met her and proposed in a couple of weeks time, but I did sit in a skybox near them for the Mississippi State game in the fall of 08.

Are we seriously arguing about CBP's divorce in a coaching rankings thread? What brought this on?

Who cares about their personal lives, to sit and judge them for what they have done is pathetic...some of you act like you haven't done wrong before in your life...get over yourself.

Didn't say that.
You said it happens to somebody every year after I said the consensus number one team didn't have its best player for the 2000 tournament. It doesn't happen every year. In fact, '75 and '00 are the only years it's happened in the last 40.

It's very solid. However, Self did something that Nolan, J.D Barnett, Tubby Smith, et al couldn't.

You're talking about Buzz, aren't you...

EDIT: Bah, must remember to finish thread before replying. Still, I had the first Buzz Peterson reference if you don't count the ones before I posted that I hadn't read.

He certainly didn't get them to the Elite Eight.

Yeah, that was far worse than saying DePaul would constitute a good win at the end of the season. Next time you have a thought, let it go. You simply continue to show you haven't the faintest idea what you are talking about.

According to this guy, cincy was the best team, but then they lost their best player...I said depaul would win some big east games and they did despite losing their only nba level talent who was healthy when I said that to injury...

I could make factual assertions that are wrong, like no one makes millions in turkey...I could also claim to ignore someone and then quote them on a regular basis

He certainly didn't get them to the Elite Eight.

He made them king of the NIT. I'm sure that relates to the Donovan discussion some pages ago, but I'm not sure how.

He's also indisputably dirty, and Kentucky(as much as I hate them) is better than his corrupt ass. They are going to regret allowing his stink to get on their program, and most of them know it. Just let him have one or two bad seasons and all the pent up angst they feel about him leading their program is going to explode.

In 550 posts of mostly entertaining and often absurd material, the bolded section above just might be the most wrong. Dickens spelled it out pretty well without delving into the cesspool of scandal that is their football program, but at the risk of being repetitive, Kentucky is not "better than" anyone's corrupt ass.

Wrong... pearl could have realized he did not love his wife. He could have wanted her to divorce, she said no way, he said the kids are grown and I will give you lots of money to end this marriage. She said yes, and he moved on...

That happens.

If it weren't all over youtube it wouldn't be that big of a deal...I personally don't care what people do, barring the insane.
