Coaching Rankings.

He made them king of the NIT. I'm sure that relates to the Donovan discussion some pages ago, but I'm not sure how.
I remember Dickey bragging about Peterson winning the NIT when we hired him. Of course, he was leaving out the fact that Self had pretty much the same roster in the Elite Eight the year before Buzz got there.

My top active coaches would be the following.

1. Izzo
2. Krzyzewski
3. R. Williams
4. Self
5. Boeheim
6. Huggins
7. Calipari

Maybe that is the career path for Buzz--step in after better coaches have moved on to greener pastures.

I'll throw this out there. Instead of ranking coaches by what they've acheived,recruiting,etc..., who would you most want to play for if you were a bluechip recruit?

Ignoring all of the arguing for a moment, I'm curious to see where he had Bruce before the AA's, and if the Elite 8 helped him rise in the rankings or not. If so, was he in the 30's before that?

Plus, what's the criteria? Simply just one man's opinion?

UMass and Memphis have vacated wins is a FACT.

The NCAA has done nothing to Cal is a FACT

you honestly think cal had no clue what was going on?

apparently where there is smoke, there is no fire in your town.

This seems to be the fundamental divide between this board, is the difference between those who are able to seperate fact from "assumption" or "opinion".

It doesn't matter who thinks Cal had anything to do with it, its quite OBVIOUS that he did. Whats being debated, is the ignorant statement that "Cal is a cheater and thats a fact". When if you ARE going by FACT, the man has ZERO charges against him in the arena of cheating. He was EXONERATED in both instances.

I can't for the life of me figure out how this is such a damn hard concept for people to understand.

I think the majority of the coaches bend the rules in their favor so I could care less what he does.

and by your logic, the people who defend him are also incorrect since it is obvious as u said he was aware if what was going on

do you ever post an original thought?

Are cals protein stains hard to wash off your clothes?

In other words, “I don’t have an answer for why the NCAA has never sanctioned Cal for squat so I will put my 3rd grade education to use and insult you”.

Brilliant!

I would play for Pearl, Huggins or Izzo.

I think people on here would classify me as a big pearl fan. That said, jim b with carmelo, cal with rose, wall etc. If I was a blue chip I would want immediate playing time somewhere where I liked the system and I could get lots of nba money after a year. Pearl has not proven he can get that yet. I think he will soon.

Hey, you ought have welcomed him to leave. That would have shown him how intelligent you were!

You honestly believe Calipari had nothing to do with any of that devious activity? And it was purely coincidental that both schools were penalized right after he left?

Protein stain in third grade as a euphemism for ejaculate? I mean I know there was a lot of awkward learning due to monica l, but I thought that was a high school level insult.
