Someone tell Griffith that Lawrence Frank is 40 not 50. He just missed it 10 yrs.:loco:
Haha, was about to post that. Saw he put him as 50 and laughed, the guy doesn't look 30, even though he's 40

Please elaborate on a 'stacked' Nets team.

Has that even happened since they joined the NBA?

I was thinking the same thing :eek:lol: They have never had a stacked team up there....Nets fans would not know how to react if they actually spent some money and got some super stars there.

Frank was a loser in college and regressed the nets until he was fired.

He is a tiny angry bald man. He has never proven anything as a recruiter. I am sick of people on here pretending they know he would succeed here.

Frank would be O'Neill part 2.

Vince Carter
Richard Jefferson
Jason Kidd
Alonzo Mourning
Nenad Krstic

...and perpetual all-star Ron Mercer.

Ok thats TWO stars..Carter and Kidd....Need a few more to have a stacked team...The ones highlighted do not qualify as they really aren't nothing more than roster filler.

Alonzo Mourning barely played for the Nets because of his kidney. When he was OK again he got traded to Toronto and then waived which allowed him to go to Miami. Zo was NOT a factor.
Kristic? Please! He sucks!

I love it when people try to pass off having Wince Carter on a team as a good thing.

Hopefully a courtesy interview, if he really did interview.

You don't give "courtesy" interviews to people because they attended your school 35 years ago. If they interviewed him, there is serious interest from TN.

Yup. Coaches that take their team to the playoffs four out of six times with a sucky roster can't coach. And why the hate for an "angry, bald man"? What does that have to do with his coaching?

That's just the tip of the iceberg. Don't forget how horrible Anthony Grant is.
You know what's hurting UT's search? The improvement South Carolina, LSU, and Auburn showed this season. Coaches are petrified at the prospect of facing those rising powers.

I like Frank, because at worst, he would probably bring in very good players, because of his NBA experience. If we hire a coach who doesn't win and doesn't recruit well, it would set us way back. Ideally, we want to win big. But, we at least need to recruit well.

I really just don't want to get my hopes up thinking that we have a shot hiring Frank, and then hiring someone else...

If Byrd gets the job with the sanctions with what our team has faced we will be set back further than if we had kept Bruce. . Hammy would def be fired in three seasons at the most.

Darrin Horn, Trent Johnson, and Tony Barbee are coaches that just scare every coach in America with their teams' prowess. Whatever shall UT do?:crazy:
