Can't disagree more. The qb position is so critical that it shuts down a whole phase of the game if you don't have one. Execution is the issue and the qb can't get passed the basics to even think about executing the offense.

That should be obvious to anyone with eye balls so I'm assuming your either blind or overly emotional about the game.

Peterman is pathetic,coaches are asinine for staying wit him too long,offensive line has blocked nobody,play calling has been atrocious.All that aside,Vols are still in this game and better second half might suffice to get a win.GO VOLS.

I'll give the D credit, they have kept us in the game. We'd have won 9 games last year with this D and last years O.

Talent or lack there of has nothing to do with the complaints expressed here. The kind of performance we witnessed on offense is NEVER acceptable by this University. This looked like really bad preparation.

You can pass when you don't give ur players the same play 20 times a game when it doesnt work. The play calling is way too cautious get pass plays 5-6 yards downfield instead of behind the LOS on 2nd down every time

I guess USC could make the same claim. You know no talent, not the coaches fault. You know I'm sure Louisville is full of five stars so that's why they are getting better. Boise State is also chalked full of those same five stars so that's why they are good also. Sometimes you have to coach up lesser talent. There is no way we should look this bad, we just shouldn't. Even if we had all 2 stars and walk-ons we still shouldn't look this bad. I'm not for Fire Butch but we should be capable of lining up and gaining positive yardage. Any D-1 school could have put points on the board where Florida turned it over at. Poor talent maybe, poor coaching definetly

It's really tough to grade the WRs when we don't have a QB that can get them the ball behind a line that's obviously not as good as we thought. Last year, this same line could pass block for what I would say is a talented QB. Run blocking is and continues to not be our strength.

1. Why is it that if you disagree with someone, you automatically resort to name calling? Grow up and learn to carry on a conversation like an adult. 2. Yes, the execution is atrocious. Who's job is it to COACH these young men to execute? 3. I'm not saying we should fire anyone, but I am voicing concern over the prep for this game. 4. You will have to excuse me, I didn't know it was in permissible to dare question Butch...after all, he gets it.

Was Butch hired to run the I? No! the only thing thats wrong with the coaching that first half was not pulling Peterman earlier. We have 2 average RB's. a very young WR core, and what looks like a overrated OL (going up against one of the best DL in the county) We have no playmakers or depth.
