“It is a plea bargain between a prosecutor and criminal. A criminal who doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life in prison. That is not precedent. That applies only to that specific case. Nobody cites plea bargains for precedent,” he continued. “That is number one. Number two, just because a prosecutor says that somebody violated a campaign law doesn’t make it so. He is not the judge. He is not the jury. We didn’t adjudicate anything.”

Levin went on to use an example to illustrate his point that what Cohen alleges Trump did is not illegal.

“Say a candidate had said we owe vendors a whole lot of money. We have had disputes with them. But I want you to go ahead and pay them. I’m a candidate, I don’t want the negative publicity. So he says to the private lawyer, you pay them, I’ll reimburse you, get it done. Is that illegal? It’s perfectly legal. Yet according to the prosecution of the Southern District of New York, it’s paid at the direction of the candidate to influence the election. Yes, Mr. Prosecutor, how stupid is your point?”

So, Cohen paid off the whore that Trump banged. Trump repaid him from the donations of supporters. Not improper? LMAO.

Trump's team acknowledged it. Now your boy Levin is trying to frame it as a dispute over how much a vendor is owed. You really shouldn't post after crushing some bong hits.
Where's the acknowledgement other than Cohen? Cohen will say anything at this point. Unless he has recording of Trump saying take campaign funds and cover it then nothing is there.

Wrong. He used his personal funds. Try and keep up. Now will Cohen lie and say otherwise, maybe but that will never hold up in court given what Cohen has said in the past.

I misread the source, you are correct that it was Trump company. However, the payment was clearly to influence an election.

The guy was a very good prosecutor and if he came out tomorrow saying Trump was a bad guy, you'd tell us he should be in line to be a Supreme Court Justice.
Yes he once was. He's off his rocker now. I find myself watching his interviews now to see what happens next. Truth is truth.

Again, listen to what Levin said. There is absolutely nothing illegal or wrong about that. Politicians pay hush money all the time to keep people quiet. All do it. Not illegal.

I don’t think Rudy gets straight talking points or the truth from the Trump camp, so he goes out that and spirals as more and more comes out.
