Colin Kaepernick sits during national anthem

I couldn't have lived with myself if I'd got rich off that song, with that line in it. I've scrapped songs that were good songs, and pretty much complete. Just because one line sucks and I couldn't replace it with anything better. I'd just stop working on it and never play it again. Its weird cause I'm not ocd about anything else like that.
Me too. Wanna collaborate?

Not exactly.

Racism comes in 2 steps. 1. White aggression. 2. Black internalization.

Through education we can counter internalizing the ideology of white supremacy. However, that doesn't mean racism will end. No matter how proud a black man I am, I can still be killed by policeman in the streets. I can be sentenced to jail twice as long as a white man for committing the same crime. I can be denied a job having better qualifications than a white man and so on.

Black power helps us from internalizing the ideology of white supremacy. It doesn't save us from the effects of racism.

Tell me, big shot, what qualifications do you have for employment? Would love to hear.

White supremacy 101.

Destroy Africa. Enslave Africans. Then claim they are behind whites in development.

If you didn't destroy our homeland and steal our people we wouldn't be in the predicament we are right now.

You know..I don't post very often, but I read the FF everyday. I kinda felt sorry for the way some people picked
at you every time you would make a post. (Mostly due to the FB stats you would throw out)

Dude you need medical help..like now. I am a firm believer in life is what you make of it.

I have a close friend that is of color. We went to the same High school, took alot of the same classes, and got good grades.

Let me tell you the difference, I lived in a home that both parents loved and supported me in everything I did.
He lived in a broke down house where his mom was on drugs and his dad was in jail for most of his life.

I went to a tech school, he went to a nice college by working two jobs to pay for it. We are both working and he doubles what I make.
He was worse off that me, yet he did better then me. He didn't feel like he was owed a better life due to his childhood. He knew he would get out of life what he put into it.

If he ever met you and you talked that fool talk he would laugh you out the door. You can play the sad victim all you want...and thats all you will ever be.

No Nation is without a bad mark on its history, but friend this is 2016.. You have never went into a mall and been told not to get a drink due to your color,
you have not been told to leave BK because they don't sell big macs to your people.

If its that bad here and you think we have somehow doomed you, feel free to go to Africa and tell them the grand plan to fixing their Nation.

Man I can't claim to understand what black people feel, even with me having black family. I do know the attitude you carry will cause people to not like you, and you'll accuse racism instead of your actions. You flat out accuse everyone who's white of being racist, and black people who don't hate whites you call "coons and uncle toms". Try fixing your attitude if you want us to respect what you're saying, stop falsely accusing people you don't know of being racist.

Do you actually enjoy life day to day? Do you just sulk and ***** incessantly about your plight in life because you think the deck is stacked against you? You read like the most miserable person on the planet, when many people are far worse off than you.

Lol, the whites didn't steal your people. Your own black people sold black slaves. You don't know dick and you claim to know black history.

So you absolve the slaver because there was a middle man selling the slave?

This is like saying I'm not guilty of smoking crack because a drug dealer sold me the rock and pipe.

But Addiction is a disease D4H. The point is that the colonist ( my ancestors arrived after slavery was abolished ). Stepped maybe 1 mile into Africa. When the tribes in Africa went to war,the losers were sold as slaves to different countries.

LOL.

So you think black people just decided the bleach their skin and chemically straighten their hair out of the blue?

White supremacy has brainwashed our people to hate themselves. That's why an active black empowered educational system is critical for black children. We have to teach them their true history and worth rather than the hostile dominant society.

As long as this country is "shared" there will always be a system to oppress people of color

Jim Crow laws and such. But it's transformed.

And not just America, but the world.
It is what it is.

Nothing will ever change for the better.

You didn't read enough then..

I don't know why you think the fact Arab Muslims were also evil slave traders absolves white people? Yes arabs are horribly racist people too. You want a cookie?

I mean with the way arabs and muslims are demonized by so many white folks in America, doesn't the fact you share this legacy of anti-black racism and slavery give you pause?

If you are not a minority please dnt comment on how a minority feels they should stand up for they believe in. Those of you are not a minority you have no idea what the daily struggles are and what they have been through.

Stop using your skin color as a crutch. I'm short. Achondroplasia runs in my family.

If you don't think tall people get paid more than short people I'll invite you to do a little (it won't take much) research.

I don't use my height as a crutch. Stop using your skin color.

You make good points. But D4H is right. It's not about how proud we can be of ourselves, or not.

There are systems in place to knock people of color down.
Cultural, finicial and mostly Educational barriers.

For the record I'm not a fan of affirmative action.
In my career I've been hired over a white male with similar skills, because of my skin color.

There's nothing right about that.

You re right about the height thing. It's absolutely true.

many types of inequality in a this country.

False. I don't hate whites. And I have never said "black people who don't hate whites are coons." Please find one post of mine where I have stated that.

I don't hate white people. That is you putting words in my mouth. I hate injustice. I hate inequality. I hate white supremacy. Unless you like injustice, unless you like inequality, unless you like white supremacy, I don't hate you.

I only hate those that want to keep one group of people oppressed. And I hate those from the oppressed group who would turn their back on the rest of their community for their own betterment. That is a coon.

It's not so black and white.

I had a white girlfriend a few years back who worked at a Law Firm. Before she dated me, she was also blind to the injustice.

Most of it is subtle.
Not so much anymore.

White and Non- White people will never truly get along on a large scale.

Me.. truthfully speaking ... I dislike people period.

Life isn't fair. Get used to it and make the most out of what you do have going for you instead of wallowing in self pity/blame like D4H.

Keep bringing the crazy!
