I remember watching Carlos Delgado playing catcher for Knoxville Blue Jays(I don’t think they were the Smokies yet)…it was so wild seeing somebody that big behind the plate. The umps barely had to bend their knees.

I haven’t seen Backus listed among the top 500 draft prospects, but this site has Chase Valentine at 479.

We could have an outfield of Tears, Scott, and Booker, then Ahuna at SS and Burke at 1B, then Dickey at catcher and Chambers as 3B and another lefty at DH.

If you went to a game you might have seen him in between innings tossing to Beck. I saw him at one and I said to myself, who the heck is that, look at the frame on the kid.

I’ve seen a 6.1 60 for Seth which is absolutely scooting. That’s ELITE track speed
