7.7seconds in a sixty yard dash. My best forty was 4.65. What is Seth’s time in a sixty. I’d consider that time a Wheelz standard.

7.7 is garbage unless you’re a power guy. I barely got scouts attention with a 6.7 as a medium-power guy.

Seth is probably 6.1-6.2. He flys. Billy Hamilton is the only player ever under 6. Most D1 position players sit between 6.3 and 6.6/6.7.

Edit: that 7.7 is probably from early high school.

The freshman to keep an eye out for in the outfield is Kavares Tears from Lewisburg, Tennessee. Tears has a ton of power in his bat, but must put the ball in play more consistently. Vitello has talked in the past about Tears being a big piece to Tennessee’s future.

2020 ish? Could be a typo too.

Maybe so. Luc’s 60 time is around 7 to contrast what a 7.7 looks like. 7.7 can’t get to any ball in the gap unless it’s a lazy pop up.

PG had him a 7.4 in 2019. I’d bet he’s around a 6.7-6.9 now with some college training under his belt. Probably partly why he redshirted.

@TheMookieMonster may not be that easy. As a cadet at the Air Force Academy he has been receiving a salary as if he was already commissioned.
The DOD changed the law in 2016 to recognize great athletes and allow them to pursue their athletic endeavors. When he graduates, he will be commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force with a 2 year Active Duty Committment. However, the 2016 law change allows him to serve his two years in an active Reserve Unit. He will graduate with a degree (probably in Engineering) and then be assigned to a branch of the Air Force. He will have to attend some basic training courses (I assume) probably and then negotiate an assignment. The Air Force will have some say in whether going to Tennessee meets the intent of the 2016 law allowing him a waiver on his active duty committment. I did not attend the Air Force Academy but have walked the Academy Grounds and worked with several academy graduates. Hope this helps.
