Actually, this was one of my first reactions when the Texas/OU thing was first announced - to ask on this forum why not go after the other annual challengers for the football NC? Once this Megalodon Conference is formed, they will break away from the NCAA and have their own rules. This new conference will be able to declare their football champion the national champ every year. Who will challenge them?

It would be the ultimate power move, but I still hate it. First off, you’d have to change the conference name, unless it’s going to be the southeast of Canada conference.

Sure, but doesn’t mean I’ll like it. Funny thing is that I’m on the other side of the fence for Texas/OU, which I’d be excited about for personal reasons, and for people who oppose it, I say hey more $$$! OSU and Mich I cannot get excited about for selfish reasons since the Midwest is really the only area of the country I’ve never lived in, so I have 0 interest. We shall see.

This did not just happen. He had to be in it before July 1. That was the cutoff. We know several players that were in it from other schools that did not appear but it had not been completely updated recently. We wondered how many others were in it that did not show. This must be the final update.

Nope, I agree with you. The guy has great stuff, including a hard sinker. But for whatever reason he couldn't put it together come game time. You can see that Tony V and Anderson really wanted him to succeed and he got chances, but it just didn't work out. If he can, he'll win some games. Wish him well. He was always cheering and appeared to be a good teammate.
