The PI at the end wasn’t even bogus that’s the thing. You can’t wrap up a receiver while he’s going up to get a ball. That’s textbook PI.
The only reason people are complaining about it is because it was 4th down and it resulted in a interception. If that call came on even 3rd down with exact same results you likely hear nothing.

For the first time in forever I noticed several clips featuring Tennessee in the Big & Rich opening segment.

Didn't see it. So everybody is talking about how we gotta win out now? That figures. The way I see it if we keep in close in a loss to GA we should still get in if the beat Alabama or Ole Miss in SECCG. Nobody had a schedule like ours we're legit.
Should but that would mostly depend on what happens with TCU and UCLA. It’s unlikely, but if either of those teams end up undefeated, they’re getting in before a 1-loss Tennessee team.

He is wrong though

Tennessee does not need to win out.

Loss to Georgia Tennessee like 65% chance
To make playoff.

One loss but win VS Georgia and won SEC champ like 96% chance to make playoff

Win out but lose SEC champ like 74% chance to make playoff
If we have 1 loss we won't get in over an undefeated Georgia, Clemson, Ole Miss, TCU, UCLA, Michigan OR Ohio State. 1 loss Bama and 1 loss Big 10 champ would get in, it's probably down to us or Georgia unless a lot of crazy upsets happen.

Bammer’s say this is clean. Literally had one yesterday say to me since when is swatting a ball away PI? Living in AL this week has been glorious and hellacious at the same time. Watching them squirm while we grin ear to ear is great but listening to the excuses over and over has been unbearable.

Lee Corso is what he is, but he’s not wrong. Undefeated Michigan/Ohio State and Clemson are in, an undefeated UCLA and TCU are probably in, if Alabama wins the West and the SEC, they’re in. So really, the Tennessee-Georgia game is very likely a game that determines who gets a playoff spot, and even then, you still have to win out the regular season and nothing is guaranteed. All that being said, Tennessee controls their own destiny which is more than anyone expected before the season.

But yeah, the clown making excuses for Alabama is dumb. Herb called him out on it too.

Kirk said TN outplayed & out coached Bama, while Corsi and Company mentioned the Bama pre snap penalties and only losing with last second field goal.

At the end of the day, the committee will only take TN if we beat UGA and win the SEC or lose in a close SEC championship game.

Clemson will remain undefeated in the weak ACC. The SEC champion will go even with one loss.
The winner of Ohio State and Michigan will go, State most likely.
The the fourth spot will come down to a possible PAC 12 team, a one loss Oregon team? I can’t recall if TCU is undefeated but they would be the only possible Big 12 team??? And then you have TN. Losing to UGA would keep us in the mix if TN ran the table, but I’m afraid politics would come into play as ESPN has already voiced their opinion.

There is a lot of football left to play, but it’s fun for us fans to speculate. It’s been a special year and one that I wouldn’t have predicted.

Take care of UT Martin early and then turn to KY. That game concerns me a bit as expectations are so high (for the TN fandom (BVS, 😆). It’s kind of similar to the 98 Arkansas game except we had already beat UGA. But the Vols should win that game.

Anyway, take care of KY and the expectations will exponentially higher Georgia week!

Go Vols, one game @ a time, and enjoy the ride!

Uga, OSU, UT, Michigan, Clemson, ole miss, TCU and UCLA are all still undefeated. Any combination of those four undefeated will be in regardless of other 1-loss teams.

Uga gets in if they have 1 loss in the SECCG. If they lose to UT, then no.
Bama gets in with 1 loss because that means they’ll be Sec champs.

I don’t agree that a 1-loss loser of OSU/Michigan would be above UT/uga/bama 1 loss team.

Any of the remaining current undefeated teams (Clemson, ole miss, tcu, ucla) are done with one loss.

Yeah, Herbie actually shut lil bear down with “Bama got beat”
"If Bama hadn't had all those mistakes blah blah"
Yeah, but it's been all year. That's like saying if Jeremy Pruitt's teams didn't play poorly he'd still be coach. Derrrr

Here's somewhere to listen to the UT-Martin broadcast if you don't want to listen to Bob and Pat call the Tennessee-UT-Martin game.

UCLA will lose today..hell they should have lost at home to S.Ala.. Ohio St/Mich play so both can't be undefeated.

I think it wouldn’t favor the Vols if this happened but I still say the interesting scenario would be if:

we lose to Georgia....
Alabama beats Ole Miss....
Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC championship...

You would then have 4 1 loss SEC teams.
What 1 loss SEC team do you put in the playoffs?

Ole Miss Undefeated odds are astronomical
Michigan or Ohio State one will suffer a loss head to head.
Georgia Undefeated? TCU Undefeated? UCLA Undefeated?
Clemson possible to run table weak schedule and league.
Alabama 1 loss possible but ? 1 loss B10 Team will depend on who it is?
Tennessee undefeated or with 1 loss will get in before the other 1 loss teams if the loss is to GA only.
Of course Politics and $$$ will play into this as usual.

1 Team it will be the SEC Champ.
2 Teams ?
3 Teams probably will not happen unless there is numerous upsets to the other teams.

They both shouldve be PI’s against Bama.
