Watching Gameday and the was going over scenario on how Tennessee makes playoffs. Lee Corso lol says must win out impressively,to make a long story short Fat Ass Chris Fallica Tennessee had to have a fluke PI call to win the game I hate those guys they suck.

I don’t even know why Falica is on. He is wrong all the time.

Lee Corso is what he is, but he’s not wrong. Undefeated Michigan/Ohio State and Clemson are in, an undefeated UCLA and TCU are probably in, if Alabama wins the West and the SEC, they’re in. So really, the Tennessee-Georgia game is very likely a game that determines who gets a playoff spot, and even then, you still have to win out the regular season and nothing is guaranteed. All that being said, Tennessee controls their own destiny which is more than anyone expected before the season.

But yeah, the clown making excuses for Alabama is dumb. Herb called him out on it too.
If Tennessee loses to let's just say Kentucky. And beats Georgia and wins the SEC Championship they are IN!!

UCLA is getting taken to the cleaners by Oregon, and TCU has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning out. There will be a minimum of two SEC teams in the playoff.

Should but that would mostly depend on what happens with TCU and UCLA. It’s unlikely, but if either of those teams end up undefeated, they’re getting in before a 1-loss Tennessee team.
I agree, only because this is going to be the year that more than just SEC teams get pushed for the playoff. They will definitely push 2 big 10 teams just for the appearance that they can compete with the SEC. and if there is no way they can tout a 2nd B10 team, they will push an ACC, B12 or PAC team if possible.
They want to go ahead and preview an expanded playoff as much as possible and what better way to get everyone on board than to have numerous participants from numerous conferences, not just the SEC.
If everything shakes out right, you could make a legit argument for 4 SEC teams at the end of the year and they know that and that is their worst nightmare, so they are pushing their narratives now, at the expense of Tennessee.

Why do they have that guy on the show. He’s terrible. TERRIBLE. Is it just for the gamblers? He’s not even that good at picking. I would rather a talking house plant than him on the show.

Clemson is not as good as Tennessee or has not proven it at least with their schedule. Put is in the ACC this year and we would be a shoe in for the championship game vs Clemson

So basically, if we lose to Georgia, we need Georgia to win the SEC championship for a better shot of getting in.

But I don’t think we lose to Georgia the more I think about it. Didn’t mizzou almost beat them?

It's not even a fluke pi. He was literally hugging our receiver before the ball got there

Corso was right.

He actually just said we need to win out to get in, didn't say we have to win impressively.
Say tho TN does lose a close one in Athens ( I think we win but it could be the orange glasses I'm looking thru) and Georgia proceeds to go undefeated and beats bama in sec championship…
Either Ohio state or Michigan will have a loss due to playing each other…
Clemson team who has been flirting with a Loss all season but ends up going undefeated since they don’t play a ranked team the rest of the season (Uiagalelei will end up costing the tigers a game either to SC or NC)
That leaves :
Georgia
Ohio State or Michigan
Clemson
****and a one loss team
I’m not sure there would be a better one loss team resume than what UT would be in this scenario. And if Clemson ends up losing a game and Bama beats GA. How could you not have 3 Sec one loss teams in the playoff?
Food for thought and just some what if scenarios

Tennessee with a close loss or a blowout loss to Georgia will be heading to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.

There's so much football still left to be played. The Pac 10 is already done and TCU is hardly a lock to go unbeaten. At least one of Ohio State and Michigan will have a loss. If UT's only loss is in the SEC championship game to Bama and the only two unbeaten teams are OSU/Michigan and Clemson, we have a good a shot to be the fourth team with a better resume than most anyone else.
