If the Vols can beat KY and GA, that would be half the opponents ranked. I don’t see how anybody could overlook that.

Yea. Not sure how OSU gets in with one loss (assuming it’s UM) and only quality win being against PSU. That makes no sense.

I think it remains to be seen how quality of that win Penn State would be. Blows my mind that they gave Franklin that extension. I’m glad he used us as leverage.

Exactly. Best thing we can hope for is LSU turns in to an even better win for us and wins out minus Alabama and I don’t know how you take any other one loss team over us.

I believe that's the way it is. I don't agree with it at all, but I think Tennessee has to be undefeated to get in.

Didn't see it. So everybody is talking about how we gotta win out now? That figures. The way I see it if we keep in close in a loss to GA we should still get in if the beat Alabama or Ole Miss in SECCG. Nobody had a schedule like ours we're legit.

It would likely depend on if there are any / the number of power 5 undefeateds left at that point.

Lee Corso is what he is, but he’s not wrong. Undefeated Michigan/Ohio State and Clemson are in, an undefeated UCLA and TCU are probably in, if Alabama wins the West and the SEC, they’re in. So really, the Tennessee-Georgia game is very likely a game that determines who gets a playoff spot, and even then, you still have to win out the regular season and nothing is guaranteed. All that being said, Tennessee controls their own destiny which is more than anyone expected before the season.

But yeah, the clown making excuses for Alabama is dumb. Herb called him out on it too.

Should but that would mostly depend on what happens with TCU and UCLA. It’s unlikely, but if either of those teams end up undefeated, they’re getting in before a 1-loss Tennessee team.

To make playoff.

One loss but win VS Georgia and won SEC champ like 96% chance to make playoff
