Enjoying your picks
I am keeping stats
You are 1/3 but should have won the Texas pick
He didn't pick Texas to win, just that it was his Game of the Night. His upset pick was Houston over Cincy.
I actually did pick Texas to win in a post replying to his picks yesterday, and man did they blow it. Reminded me of Vandy vs UK. Bamba fouling out certainly didn't help.
Wichita St at Temple should be a good game, and I think well probably be close to WSU in seeding so would be good to see a Temple victory. Also, Temple beat both Auburn and S Carolina....
4 of our previous opponents are playing tonight... including 2 who face each other. Mercer vs Furman which should be a very close game.
I picked Mercer in a year long pool and theyve been disappointing. Hoping they win.
Presbyterian plays at home to Longwood and should win but you never know when both teams are garbage.
High Point plays at Charleston Southern and should be a slight favorite
At this point in our schedule, I think we move up the rankings a little at a time with every win until we are in the Top 10, I dont see us getting better than 9 or 10 without a lot of help.
I think we can lose two games and stay in the top 20.
Anything more than two losses we will need a really good showing in SECT to move back inside the Top 16 and end up a 4 seed or better.
Of course its basketball, so we could get a lot of help or be hurt by other teams.
I think we have about a 50% chance of winning out, 75% to finish with 1 loss or less and about 90% to finish with 2 losses or less.
This is a really good team, and if they can continue to show the mental toughness they have had the last couple of games....an already great Year could turn into an amazing one.
