Think about it. A 75-game home winning streak. Unbelievable, but then you look at their schedule and it becomes believable.
Really good program, and they have an impressive OOC schedule always, but I have to wonder what their players might wonder about playing in an upper-tier conference. The atmosphere in these big game conference matchups are unlike anything they’ve seen on a regular basis.I’m not impressed. There was a lot of talk about how impressive it was last night, but if Tennessee played their conference schedule I wouldn’t be shocked if ours was 50/60+ as well.
College basketball is truly on crack this year. No game can be taken lightly. Not one. We gotta bring it on Saturday against a bad LSU team if we want to win.
Seeing Gonzaga join the Pac-12 for basketball would be great for the sport.Really good program, and they have an impressive OOC schedule always, but I have to wonder what their players might wonder about playing in an upper-tier conference. But what about all of the idiots who say our offense sucks? You mean they’re wrong? How could that be.
Yeah, but when Evan describes us as an “explosive” team, I have to sit back and smile. One of 3 in his book. I’ll take all the compliments we can get. This isn’t necessarily saying our offense is great. It just means we do a great job of preventing scoring runs and we go on a few ourselves. We’re still barely Top 50 in AdjO. We’re a solid offense, but it needs to improve if we want to make a Final Four.
I feel like a top 50 offense is good enough to make it. What was Virginia’s when they won the title? I’ll check it.This isn’t necessarily saying our offense is great. It’s skewed because people see post tournament numbers, it’s something like Top 35/35 pre tourney, but post tourney it ends up Top 20/20This is correct. I think top 20 is the magic number for both. Looks like Baylor was 22nd in defense the year they won, but every other champion was top 20 in both.
