How on earth is arky a projected 8 seed? 2 ranked wins and a losing record in conference play. Ridiculous that they’ll be dancing.

Gotta agree, but the NET rankings and SOS are both really good. Still think a win or two in the SECT is needed. Seems like the resume is still buoyed by the OOC schedule. Also only one "bad loss" to LSU on the record which helps I guess.

Tyree Appleby wins ACC POY. That’s two years in a row for Wake Forest having it. But unless they win the ACC tournament, they’ll be an NIT team both years. Not a good look for Steve Forbes. Many Barnes haters have floated him as a guy they’d rather have at UT…

It would make some sense if teams were routinely shifting from D1 to D2 depending on their roster makeup, I guess.

Since that doesn't happen, largely due to how insane a concept it is, the rule is truly terrible.
