It’s just crazy how quickly people have “forgotten” about Beard’s domestic abuse in less than a year because he’s a good basketball coach. You would almost never know why Beard is at Ole Miss in the first place.
Was he proven guilty and convicted? What was his sentence? I’m personally growing weary of folks being tried and convicted in the social media court of public opinion especially in some of the conflicts between men & women where it’s assumed the man is always in the wrong.

She refused to testify, so everything got dropped, but if you read the initial reports it’s hard to think he was 100% innocent.

I don’t want to re-litigate the case on VolNation because at this point it feels like people have their minds made up, so no reason to start this debate up again. Regardless, I feel like we should have higher standards for the coaches who are meant to be leading young men and molding them than what the current standard seems to be for some programs. JMO.
