It sucks that we travel down there to play later in the year instead of now. He’ll figure it out by the time we have to play them. I’d love to get a crack at them while they are bleeding like a stuck pig.

Very difficult to go into the Ozarks and come out with a win if Arkansas has at least an average team. I lean towards this Arkansas team being average by the time we make the trip there.

Maybe Musselman will find his annual 2nd half of the season magic again, but I think Arky is digging the hole too big this time. They don’t look remotely close to being a tourney team.

Watching the Auburn LSU game. I think Auburn is going to give us fits. They have some big guys good in the paint and some ringers from 3 point land. Glad this one is at home.

#8 Arizona loses on the road against unranked Washington State (as if this week's theme wasn't apparent enough).

If TCU holds off Houston, it's completely realistic that the Vols will be ranked #5 again next week with UConn at #1 (Houston will fall out of the Top 5) and UNC jumping UT/Kentucky.

Auburn looks really good, certainly. But I also can’t get a good read on them because their January conference schedule is extremely soft for the most part. They actually have one of the easier schedules of any top flight team in the SEC, so they probably should be viewed as the favorite to win the league at this point.

This is the 2nd time in 3 years they’ve had a favorable SEC schedule.
