College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Auburn looks really good, certainly. But I also can’t get a good read on them because their January conference schedule is extremely soft for the most part. They actually have one of the easier schedules of any top flight team in the SEC, so they probably should be viewed as the favorite to win the league at this point.
I just skimmed their schedule. Other than A&M at 35, their best KenPom win is VTech at 55. USC at 70. LSU at 81. Indiana at 90. Arkansas at 92.

We have KenPom wins of 9, 10, 68, 69, 72, 80, and 96. KenPom losses are all top 23. We should get a ton of credit for the schedule we played.

I'm not sure how many people are watching this Alabama game but it has devolved into pure chaos. It's been at like 65-60 Alabama for 2 straight minutes of gametime because both teams are just chaotically running around flinging bodies and taking out of control shots early in the shot clock trying to push the pace.

So so so important to keep your feet and move your feet against Alabama. They’re always looking to drive, pump fake, shoot/drive again.

Two really solid teams. Alabama is going to be a tough game for us next Saturday. Just the way it’s going to be in league play this year. Hard to envision anyone not taking some bumps and bruises along the way with how many solid teams this league has.

Smith makes this team so much better. Between he and Hubbard, this is the type of team that nobody knows anything about and sneaks in as an 11 seed and upsets someone and gives a top seed a run for its money in the second round.
