We definitely play better defense than Mizzou. But, the fact that a team can score 42 in that amount of time and flip the switch is impressive and what makes them so hard to beat.

It was a road game, and average teams can beat anyone when at home. But it’s also because we flat out did not show up to play in the first half. Got our asses handed to us playing lazy and undisciplined basketball the first 20 minutes.

MSU is also just playing terribly. They’ve actually had quite a few open looks and shots aren’t falling. And they had quite a few unforced turnovers.

I’ll give Kentucky their flowers though, being on pace to score 94 against a Top 10 defense is impressive.

MSU is basically a 2 man team. Hubbard and Smith are in foul trouble right now and sitting on the bench and State’s offense just looks completely stagnant. We let the only two guys on that team you can’t let loose kill us.
