College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Memphis is going to lose more games .... they are at best, ... the third best team in their conference... Florida Atlantic and SMU are both better and ... I would argue have a superior chance to make the NCAAT.
My opinion might be colored by the fact that I do not have a great deal of respect for the Memphis coach. Yes, I am well aware of who he is!

I know KenPom and the Net show SMU as higher, but they are not better. Memphis played a great OOC schedule, but unfortunately, a couple of those teams have been underwhelming. Memphis has much better wins, and I don’t think it’s close.

Rumblings confirmed after the game last night by One Cent that there is dissension in the ranks and it isn’t the first time in his regime. Funny how that happens when your philosophy is to bring in tons of transfers every year. (This year around a dozen, many of whom were the alphas on their team.) Add to that he is playing both his sons at key moments, neither of whom are very good. And then he reverted to throwing the players under the bus and took no blame for the collapse. Not a recipe for success. Bottom line is that he’s just not a very good coach.

I read that police evidence report and can’t see much of a way they could find him guilty. I would think this judge can pretty much surmise that with the evidence presented, she can’t see him being guilty.
Title IX court on college campuses doesn’t operate under the same rules of “beyond a reasonable doubt” that our courts follow. I still don’t understand why a campus court would be involved in a criminal matter as those should stay within our governmental court system. These are serious criminal matters, not plagiarism, etc.
