Funny how Nate Oats went on during our game in the huddles and in the postgame presser about how Bama vs TN was for a championship. He kept telling his team they were a half from winning a championship, etc.

Yet, did he forget that his teams sucks on the road and had to play Florida, whom they squeaked by last game?

Never wish an injury on one of the athletes, but when the game is clearly over why is Sears and Estrella still in to the very end? That’s the type thing that catches up to you eventually., sort of similar to player guys when in foul trouble. You get away with it for a bit then it bites you!

Probably so. It was more of a Mike White joke than any actual commentary on Florida. Just noting they did the exact same thing when he was coaching there.

To me, Florida has more talent than their record shows. Golden is a better recruiter than coach it appears - much like Napier.

Maybe so...I've not really dug into his ability as a coach, to be honest. I know he did a good job at San Francisco and came highly recommended and with pretty big expectations for that program when he took over in Gainesville. 16-17 in year one to 21-9 in year two is pretty impressive, but perhaps he's not getting all the juice out of that orange, either. He's only 38 years old, too, so maybe it is youth and inexperience getting in the way of better results. Still, the turnaround has been pretty good. They can beat anyone on a given night.
