Colorado’s chaotic culture

Prime's problem, is he doesn't treat his sons like players. Love is great, but on a team, honesty, and fairness is greater. You can't have favoritism and expect team cohesiveness. As for Seaton, if he knew what the culture was like to begin with, well, stupid is as stupid does If he didn't know, OK, everybody is ignorant about something. But after seeing a mess-up close, electing to stay, well, stupid is as stupid does.

But for you folks who damned Hurd for leaving, maybe now you see why he left Lyar Allen. He had more smarts than Seaton.

He will be out by season’s end. A Grand Theft Auto culture will see that locker room implode.

Just read a very interesting article, making it even more perplexing why Seaton would want to go to Colorado over Tennessee, and why any recruit would ever want to play for Deion and his stuck up children.

I’ve never pulled for a coaching administration to burn more.

Didn't know about half that. Can't believe their AD allows this to go on either. Just a matter of time before something serious happens there.

Sure you do. AD Rick George hired him. If it fails he looks bad. He’s hoping it all turns out great and he will look like a genius.

I never understood why so many liked his approach.
Turning over the roster is fine. Someone like Saban when he was younger could do it. Deion just doesn’t have the personality to rein in some of the entitlement. Heck a lot of the issue is from his kids.

He’s simply getting attention on his name alone instead of his actual coaching skills.

Wearing cowboy hats and cool sunglasses doesn’t make him an elite coach nor Colorado a great program.

Idk. Colorado was irrelevant before he got there. It’s a circus but it’s a circus that sells tickets
They gambled on his Jackson State record. Originally, I think Sand man had a great plan. Be honest, Christ-centered (character driven), and determined to win. He let that slip out of his hands, in a large part due to mixing family matters with business. It's going to ruin him, and his team.

We need to link the original threads about Sanders program.

I love tough as nails tough love coaches but I could see immediately in his first press conference Deion was more about the cameras. I thought how he talked down to the players in that room was something you do off camera.

I don't know how much to believe but that article is a little disturbing with the talk of guns and betting. The fighting doesn't bother me quite as much but I'm mixed on seeing Deion egg it on with the camera going.

Look at the the players using social media names in the back of jerseys, and profanities on camera. Once Deion leaves, the next coach will have a challenge with the roster that is left being taught "me" ball.
