Colorado would smoke TN

Some would wonder if it was Heupel or if he had the stars align by having Hooker, Tillman, Hyatt and several other pieces on the roster he inherited to work with? Let's be honest. He went 12-1 with Frost's roster and his record got worse each year after that. The next couple of seasons here will be very interesting to watch.

This is it. Heupel has been winning with previous coaches' guys. Can't do anything with his guys.

I'm still waiting on this playbook everyone keeps saying he was going to open up against Florida.

Let's be real. Heupel has no playbook. Maybe 10 plays tops. I would call his playbook a brochure.

I admit, I'm surprised Colorado beat TCU but they almost lost to a team that was 3-9 last year last night. We'll see how well Deon Sanders & Colorado does once they endure a couple of blowout losses that are coming up soon. My guess is his "look at me", rah-rah junk will start wearing very thin at that point.

Yep , most or all of the players they got in portal that start are pretty good , they got Juan Mitchell from UT, but they left their programs because of some sort of adversity. Right now at 3 and 0 everything is rainbows and lollypops. Lets see how a couple bad losses and we see players start pointing fingers. It almost happened last night squeaking out a win vs one of the worst P5 teams. at their home field sellout crowd.

At some point we gotta be honest, over the last couple of decades the Vols have been mediocre at best, consistently loosing to UF and if we do get the W… it’s a squeaker. It seems we are hell bent on sticking with same coaching staff, recruiting, and mediocre roster that keeps the Vols nation irrelevant. I’m sick of supporting that culture, I look at ( and I hate say it) Colorado, in less than one full season things are moving! Why in the hell can’t we create that momentum?
Were you saying this same thing after we beat Bama, LSU & Florida last year? I dare say no. The fact is Heupel IS a good coach (unlike dufus, botch & McDonald’s bag)… I’m sure as he says coaches and players are evaluated, if he feels a change (coaching or players) is needed, I trust he’ll make it. He think he’s earned that at this point. … & … Let’s see what Colorado’s record is at the end of the year before crowning them the most amazing team ever… they’re in the PAC 25 (or whatever it is now…) where NOBODY plays defense… they went into double overtime w/ Colorado St…. Yes I understand how bad Colorado was last year, but don’t give them a playoff birth just yet… Now looks like they’re gonna be with out hunter a few weeks (I’ve been saying all year so far they’ve been playing him too much) right before they play Oregon & USC

We just lost to a reject QB from Wisconsin and made a less talented FL team look like world beaters. Say what you want but if you can't beat a team in their home stadium in 20 years, then face it, you are average at best.

Painful to read but spot on. An elite program should not go 0-10 on the road Vs a rival. This was our best opportunity to beat FL yet we didn’t show up on either side of the field.

UT played a horrible game all the way around and made some of the dumbest mistakes I have seen since the Jones era BUT I dont think Deion is a better coach. I also dont think they would beat us but if UT played like they did last night then they would
I'm not sure if Deion is a better coach either but I'm sure his team would put up far too many points for TN to handle.

^ this....He's beat 3 $h!tty teams with a bought roster and all the sudden he's the greatest coach in history.
I never said or implied he was the greatest coach. I'm not even sure if he is a good coach.
But I'm sure his team would put up 50 on us while the fighting Miltons might manage to carve out a meager 12 points.

He’s played nobody with a pulse. They should’ve lost a home game to a 24pt underdog. Some of the late calls against CSU were comically bad, similar to our game. Refs allowed them to keep it close for eye balls and when it was time to follow the script of soap opera that is CU and Deion, the flags came out. Utah’s defense will keep them in check (baby Sanders is avg when he’s pressured and he refuses to run), Penix will throw for 400+ on their secondary, Oregon’s speed and talent will overwhelm them so on and so on. They’ve played 2 of the worst D-1 teams in their first 3 games.
Yeah, Oregon and teams like USC are gonna expose them.
They would expose us, too.
But between the Vols and Colorado, they'd put up way more points than us and win the game.

Lol, Colorado hasn’t beaten anyone and will lose multiple games shortly. Oregon will step on their throat next weekend.
Yes. Oregon would stomp our throat too.
That doesnt change the fact that Colorado would beat us.
Why does everyone keep talking about other teams playing colorado? My post was about TN getting beat by Colorado, not what other teams would do against Colorado.

First year head coach deion sanders would take Colorado and absolutely destroy our 3rd year SEC head coach. Heupel sucks.
Go away troll. You have no clue what you are talking about. Yes, TN is struggling to find its identity but Colorado couldn’t smoke a mediocre Colorado State team. They aren’t going to “smoke” a decent SEC team.

He’s using the media like no other, recruiting. Saban, Pete Carroll, Urban and Kiffin all mastered using the media to hype up and recruit players you don’t normally have access too.
Yep. A master of hype.

Idiot + television = big feelings.
I'm not sure what TV has to do with this but it takes a real idiot to watch what TN has done on the field and assume we can stop Colorado from scoring 50 then also assume we can find the strength and skill to muster up anything more than 2 touchdowns. You can call me an idiot all you want but this TN team can't stop anyone and Milton cant put up points.

If a UT team played a team that they were favored by any where from 25 to 37 points on betting lines and we had to go to double Over Time to win at home our field. You'd be the first on here to say Fahr the coach but somehow you think Deion accomplished something great beating an also ran in Double OT at Home. 😂
I never said nor did I even imply that Deion did anything great or accomplished anything.
I said his team would beat ours. How would they do that? By putting up 50 points while our offense goes out there and struggles with simple things like clock management? Vols are pure doodoo.
