Colts/Pats thread........

great game. A healthy Indy team would've won IMO. However, if this ends up being the game that decides home field for the Pats, it will be tough for Indy to win in Foxborough. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, thanks Peyton.

Now I respect the Pats

Colts still played a heck of a game missing two starting LBs
& two recievers oh and dont forget that Tony Ugoh...Arkansas doesnt have him there this year im slightly more optimistic.

It really irks me that a gator caused #18 to fumble

A lot can happen between now and then. Think if Randy Moss had been out and Marvin Harrison had been in. I think the Colts probably would have won big. The Pats still have a lot of games to play, and if they continue to keep their starters in when they are up 28 points in the 4th, they'll lose some key players.

This game yes, but there is still the playoffs. Having Marvin, Tony Ugoh, and Keiaho would have made a significant impact. Not having Ugoh hurt more than anyone. Johnson killed several drives by missing blocks.

I don't see Indianapolis going into Foxborough and coming out with a win. They needed this one bad.

The Pats shot themselves in the foot. Take away half of the penalties and they win big.

When the Colts have capable wide receivers, it will be a difficult ballgame. Even Reggie Wayne played pretty poorly today. Also, if Harrison were in the game, at least one of those field goals would have been a TD. He's the go-to guy in the endzone. I wish they'd taken Dallas Clark out and put in the taller TE Fletcher in that situation.

I don't know. The Pats looked pretty beatable tonight. I'm definitely not buying the talk about them being the greatest NFL team ever.

Despite a terrible first half offensively for the Patriots, the Colts secondary couldn't contain Moss and Welker when Brady had time in the pocket.

All I know about the Pats is that they are the best team this season. All time, that one is tough. I never watched the undefeated Dolphins.

Me neither. They're good, but not that damn good.

Moss is a freak by the way. The Pats can keep 8 to block and just toss up bombs to Moss. It really is insane how good he is.

That is true.

media hype. unless they can find a way to play against some historic nfl teams, it is a pointless thing to say.

Any receiver in the league would be that good if they got away with all the pushing off he does. I was utterly shocked when he was called for offensive pass interference tonight.

I also felt like the pats ran a much more manilla offense than they have in the past. They didn't show much of their aerial attack until they had to in the fourth. It will be much more difficult for the Colts to go to Foxborough and pull out a W in a cold cold December game.

As for Moss, he's very good, but for anybody that thinks Brady just throws them up there to him, you're wrong. Not counting that horrific pass he threw that was way to low to the ground, he throws them where only his receiver can make a play on it. Especially on his bombs to Moss.
