Welp, I'm going to say it. No one on the right cares about the IG report from Horowitz. It doesn't fit their weird ass narrative. I will also say many on the left are buying in to these impeachment hearings too much. Trump will be acquitted. Both are wrong, no one is draining any swamp ****, and I'm going back to the 2020 thread.

To quote your new hero John Durham from yesterday, "The ends doesn't justify the means."

Military aid was withheld until the Trump Administration became aware of a whistleblower complaint with allegations of wrongdoing. Ukraine knew the aid had been withheld. Trump did request that Zelensky go on CNN and announce that an investigation into the Bidens was underway.

They do care about it... they are mostly lying about what it actually says. This is a lot like the Mueller report - but in reverse.

President Trump didn't "give aid"... you are making it sound like charity from the goodness of his heart. That $391 million had been authorized by Congress.

Yes, that's fine... although, I would preface that by pointing out how it would be politically tenuous for Zelensky to be publicly critical of Trump, while Trump is still in office. Zelensky needs Trump's support against Russian aggression. Republicans have leaned hard on the "Zelensky says no pressure" defense. That really can't be relied upon given Zelensky's predicament with Russia.
