I learned a long time ago that politicians lie , governments lie , our intel agencies will lie , anyone in power will lie .. I’m just honest about spread it around where it belongs .

No, you haven't been honest, you seem to be smitten by Trump's lies enough so to disparage the FBI. That is exactly what Trump wants you to do. Flynn is not a victim and the FBI is not the boogeyman.

I was the one that posed the question ( in general ) about the agencies, not the administration’s that were over them , that you refused to answer . I’m not the one being dishonest or trying to lay it off on one person . 😊

Flynn did what he plead guilty to. It seems you are going the extra mile to blame someone or something else. Flynn is not the victim, Trump is not the victim.

Is the FBI saying that they didn’t save the original version each time edits were made or was the original version kept but later discarded?

The original 302 was dated in April the judge noted the 302s in court dated August. The original said no appearance of deception According to Comey and one officers verbal statements, August version was different. They can't produce the original. They lost it.

Top 7 of fbi fired. Not for trumps corruption but their own. I think you better fire up some dendrites and realize your precious agencies are dirty and highly political. They got nailed for it.

Yes. The FBI that defrauded a court to spy on Trump, lied and forged evidence against Flynn, and has now lost evidence in the case...and this is Trump's corruption.

That was my understanding.

What I’m getting at is that there are two factual elements to this allegation:
A) The document was “lost” as a result of bad faith.
B) The document was significant in a way that would make a difference in the case.

I’m not sure they’re both technically legally significant, although I would guess that a lot of A would make up for a lack of B and vice versa.

I don’t think either element is really established persuasively. It’s reliant on innuendo. Not seeing much substance to back it up.

I do think Powell is doing a great job of turning nothing into something just by being shameless about making legally meritless argument and letting political tribalism check anyone from laughing her out of court. COvid-19 might help get her to the finish line.
