Nolte: Nick Sandmann’s Lawyer Lin Wood to Represent Carter Page Against Media

Nick Sandmann’s lawyer, Lin Wood, has agreed to represent Carter Page, the former Trump campaign staffer falsely accused of being a Russian agent.

“Late last year I planned to ‘semi-retire’ to write and focus on Nick Sandmann cases. Things have changed in the past few months,” Wood tweeted this week. “Yahoo, HuffPo and [Michael] Isikoff falsely accused Carter Page of being a traitor and tried to ruin him. I have agreed to represent Carter Page.”

Wood closed his tweet with the hashtag “#FightBack.”

Lin Wood is the real deal. Good for Carter Page.

John Solomon: ‘Joe Biden Was the Architect’ of U.S.-Funded ‘Military Espionage Outpost’ in Russia
As part of her duties during the so-called Russian reset, then-Sec. of State Hillary Clinton led the way on U.S. involvement in a Russian government technology initiative that was intended to be the Russian equivalent of America’s Silicon Valley known as Skolkovo. The “innovation city,” located outside Moscow, has some 30,000 workers in state-of-the-art facilities under strict government control.

Clinton’s State Dept. recruited U.S. tech giants like Google, Cisco, Intel. Indeed, out of 28 U.S., European, and Russian companies that participated in Skolkovo, 17 of them were Clinton Foundation donors or paid for speeches by Bill Clinton.
However, as involvement in Skolkovo by Clinton cronies increased, so, too, did the danger for the technology coming out of the Russian tech mecca to be used for Russian military purposes.

SIAP, folks - but if you have not heard this interview, you may want to take the time to do so. Want to know why Hillary even thought about pulling the usual Clinton dirty tricks and doing the Dossier? It's in there along with a story about a mysterious visit John received one evening in 2017 and other interesting observations.

OK. But he denied discussing sanctions when he clearly did, didn't he?
No; he not only didn’t discuss the sanctions but made no promises of modifying or ending them. He commented solely how Moscow should not react to the sanctions and create an escalation, which neither was a violation of the Logan Act nor undercutting Obama admin policy.
There’s literally nothing wrong with these comments whether from Flynn or anyone else.

Let's split hairs even more finely then. The subject of sanctions was discussed. In what depth is a matter that lawyers earn, (and I use the term "earn" very loosely) their money.

But, in the end, I agree with you regarding whether or not Flynn did anything that warranted what has happened as a result of this incident. This is a politically motivated prosecution based on the thinnest of evidence. If it was involving anyone else, it would not have even been and should not have been, brought forward.

It’s a distinction with a difference, observing the intent of the law forbidding unauthorized pacts or negotiations by US persons with nations we’ve a dispute with. That didn’t occur and - along with interviewing agents stating he didn’t lie - if they could have used the Logan Act, I think they would have.

Flynn had shite representation advising and FBI threatening his son with something. A number of the revelatory documents in his case were being, inexplicably, sequestered by his former legal team. I expect Sidney Powell will clean their bank account when this is dismissed.
