Judge still has to grant the motion. Given that dismissing a case after obtaining a guilty plea is highly unusual, I'm guessing there may be a hearing on this one.

Since he didn’t withdraw his plea, I think it’s only fair the self-imposed time limit (for the rest of this site’s existence) be reduced to 1 year or whatever you think is fair.

Let’s see what happens. I think the motion is likely to be granted, eventually, but I don’t think this is the end of the story.

House Intel Releases 53 Transcripts From Russia Probe

The House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released transcripts of 53 interviews conducted as part of the panel’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Chairman Adam Schiff released the documents, which total more than 6,000 pages, after an intense pressure campaign from House Republicans and Richard Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence.

The committee had voted in September 2018 to release the transcripts, which were conducted with Obama administration officials, Trump associates and various other individuals.

Sources familiar with the documents have told The Daily Caller News Foundation that transcripts of the interviews with former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and former Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice contain noteworthy revelations. The committee also interviewed Michael Sussmann and Marc Elias, two lawyers who commissioned the Steele dossier on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. The committee interviewed several Trump associates, including Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and his son, Donald Trump Jr.

Transcript – FBI Spy Targeting Papadopoulos: Israelis Are ‘All F***ing Spies,’ ‘Execute Them All’

A declassified transcript published on Tuesday revealed a “confidential human source” (CHS) from the FBI deriding Israelis as “****ing spies” and “****ing ***********” who should be “executed” while surreptitiously surveilling George Papadopoulos two weeks after the 2016 presidential election.

The 206-page transcript captured conversation between Papadopoulos and an unidentified CHS, seemingly across one continuous episode on November 26, 2016. Papadopoulos worked as an assistant on President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign

In an attached cover letter addressed to Sens. Richard Burr (R-NC), Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Lindsey Graham, (R-SC), and Mark Warner (D-VA), Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd credits Attorney General William Barr with making the determination to declassify the transcript.

Papadopoulos is code-named “Crossfire Typhoon” (CT) throughout the transcript and referred to as such by an unidentified FBI agent at the beginning of the transcribed recording.

The CHS is quoted as saying, “No ****ing Russians here that aren’t ****ing…same with the Israelis they’re all ****ing spies. Those ****ing ***********. They should execute them all.”

“I can smell an Israeli from a mile away, dude,” said the CHS in another moment. “I can tell you who is ****ing Israeli.”

The CHS joked about being extradited to Israel. “Yeah I’m-I’m saying you probably ****ing…you’re probably working out a deal with them [Mossad] mother****ers on me [to] be ****ing extradited to Israel.”

When Papadopoulos said he dated an Israeli girl, the CHS disparaged Russian Jews as “fake Jews.”
