Interesting thought, but still doesn't really explain why fans will go another team's board AND then think it's OK to talk smack.

I've been to SC not that long ago when there weren't 250 people in the whole gym. And half of those wore ORANGE.

But hey, I'm glad bandwagon chickens can brag for a minute. *crows*

Well - that's my problem with it, 1CV - the ones who go on another team's forum and talk smack and that goes for any of our fans that may do it too. Speaking for myself, I have no interest in reading another team's forum and certainly would never go in as a guest and start bashing them and talk smack. Contrary to some of my emotional outbursts on here, I do know how to act! 😜

That's entirely false you need to try again everyone pays for their CLA ticket might not be as expensive but it's certainly not free

I would not have an issue with fans from other programs posting on our forum if they actually added value but it seems to me that many take a rather adolescent approach and talk smack or presume to lecture about what is wrong with our program. Let them brag and pick their own team apart on their forum. Bragging chickens and dogs do not add value to our forum.

I'm embarrassed for all parties involved and their families. I sure do hope everyone can finally begin to put this whole situation where it belongs -- in the past.

What are the ticket prices for a Tennessee game ? People attending South Carolina games still have to drive to the game..pay for parking and concessions. They do it to the tune of 14,000 a game. We are "the" program in the SEC women's game until someone takes it away...and we are national champions. You were...we are ! I never come here to throw mud because my sister is a proud graduate of Tennessee and I graduated from South Carolina. I pull for Tennessee and she pulls for South Carolina unless we play each other. I have a lot of respect for the programs but some fans....well...that's a different story.

You can google it; I did for SC a couple of years ago and was amazed how cheap they were. But as to UT...just to get the opportunity to apply to purchase a seat in center section....ante up a $1,000/seat/season donation.:ermm:

Just because we reward our fans by allowing them to see quality at a great price is something to be proud of...not ashamed of.....we must not need the money as much as your program does...right ? The quality is there...we are national champions and 4 straight SEC champions. We are the ones ..lol....if anyone is laughing out loud !

We offer the fans a quality event at a great price....so what does that prove...we care more about our fans ? We need the money less ? You are really just saying "our games (Tenn) cost more" with nothing to back up why it's that high. We pay our coach more...you really are making a silly argument.

I don't think the fly is interested in anything other than rubbing it in our face. Facts and logic will be ineffective when dealing with a braggart. It's remarks are better suited to a like minded team forum rather than ours. Ignore and maybe it will take its 100 posts and find a forum that appreciates their viewpoint.

I think what has happened at South Carolina is terrific, and I envy the attendance numbers you all are putting up. Not so long ago it was us Tennessee fans who ruled that realm, and our hope is that one day we'll take the attendance crown right off y'alls head and put it back where it belongs: On good ol' Rocky Top! :dance2:

But right now our program isn't producing the kind of quality wins or creating the air of near-invincibility that once filled TBA with fans who came there knowing that no matter WHO the opponent was that day, that chances were our Lady Vols were going to win. Playing at TBA was so difficult for opponents that getting a win there was something that put them in rare company.

These days, even Alabama can conquer Tennessee's arena.

So, no, the Lady Vols aren't the queens of attendance anymore. They are going to have to lure new fans by regularly beating Top 5 opponents like they once did.

Will that ever happen? I don't know. But if it ever does, you better hold on tight to that shiny new crown, 'cause the Lady Vols fans are gonna want it back. You can bank on that! :)
