Corey Anderson

It wasn't just his fault. This was our offense and special teams fault as a whole. AGAIN.

I just don't agree that this team wasn't ready to play.

They were ready to play, they just couldn't. (Offense and special teams that is)

I really dont think it was the coaches fault, they didnt fumble twice in the red zone. the score should have been 17 to 3 or 6 at the most. If a guy cant do his job play someone else ask Ainge about that.

That has to be one of the most retarded things ever! Get rid of Fulmer? You're crazy! He has just had a down year this year.....Fulmer has the best winning % in the SEC over coaches that have 10 or less years of experience.....He won a ton of games last year that he really shouldn't have with 2 freshman QB's and towards the end of the year with a 3rd stringer.....But you want to get rid of him? It's a good thing that you aren't the AD....Everyone has a bad year and this is our year....We'll be back next year...Crompton will be our starter(mark it down), we'll have a great defense, got tons of talent returning, and we'll have a killer tail back in Foster(he was impressive today), we'll be back next year!

Cut Anderson a little slack. That was a heck of a hit on the football. He should of held on but he's not who we should be mad at. The two penalties that put us in position to call that play. We had it 1st @ goal at the 4. Again poor executition, lack of Dicipline, turnovers. Taking too long at the line of scrimmage. This coaching staff is as inept as any I've ever seen. I've never seen such a talented group of players play worse than Vandy most every week. How long will our Defense continue to play hard. Time for some changes, but we'll only get more excuses. :banghead:

Nothing like an illegal forward pass to get you rolling in the redzone. This team just melts like butter inside the 20. It's unbelievable.

Guys, maybe football has changed since my playing days but I was always taught to use both arms around the ball especially when you want to protect it and keep from fumbling.  Has that changed?

Nope high schoolers do that.

I expect a 270 lb fullback to run over people. Not get hit and fumble. Period.

Holbert has to be better then this.

No offense (hey, I made a pun!), 10, but I'm tired of "Fulmer's win %." Nobody gets to rest on his laurels that long. I don't care if he's winning NOW; his special teams' committee of coaches (I think everybody is too ashamed of their performance to claim to hold the job) and the offensive coordinator are a disgrace, and he needs to do something, or he needs to go, too.

Anyone heard that before? 2002 ring a bell?

Funny how quickly the orange-tinted glasses-clad "fans" forget things like that. I heard a radio caller the other day say something to the effect of: "It's been a long time since we lost to Florida, Georgia, and Alabama in the same year." The sportstalk guy, forget who it was, had to remind him that it's only been a whole THREE years.

ATTENTION CLASS: Two very talented teams have now achieved that infamous feat in the past 4 season. If you are the coach at Tennessee, what should be your measuring stick? I'll give you a head start and clue: it's not Vandy, Kentucky, Memphis, Ole Miss, UAB, or East Tennessee School for the Blind.

Plus that 20% losing are all the big games that we only win once in a blue moon.

I don't think getting rid of Fulmer is the answer. He is a good ambassador for the university and a great recruiter.

What we need is a major shakeup of the assistant coaching staff - offense and special teams that is. Quite simply, Chavis and crew are getting it done, offense and special teams coaches are not. Six games is not an aberration or a coincidence, its a disburbing trend. What makes matters worse is that they've been on the decline since '97 with '04 being a slight outlier.

The game was ours. All he had to do was secure the ball and we have it.

Yup...Just like all we (Bama) had to do 2 years ago was stop TN on 4th and 19 to win. That's just Bama/TN game.

Great, hard fought game today with lots of mistakes for both teams.

memphis kentucky vandy are not big home games. you didn't go to the geogia game. the point is we lose those games, as in the big games, as in teams ranked in the top 10.

What's your point? I'm not a fan because I don't go to many of the big home games? I went to the UNLV, Bama, and UF games last year.... What an idiot....Don't open your mouth if you don't know the facts

all this talk about CA, you must have forgotten the "fair lack of catch that set up the bammer's 3-0. They would not have been able to score without us giving them field position.
