I presented a study and the connection between mis-c and Covid and the vaccine etc., never once mentioned any numbers. Where did you get that I presented the article as millions? Anyways, good job in hijacking a study and turning it into something completely different.

Actually the study shows that neither are a real threat to children. That's the direction you should have gone yet you went in favor of the vaccine. I'm shocked

Why present a story as interesting when it has no statistical significance? If anything the study invalidates the claim that kids need to get vaccinated for covid. But we know that would never match your agenda

Dr. Makary is misinterpreting his own study/letter to the editor. This study at no point addresses immunity. Just seropositivity of those with infection a median 8 months prior. They don’t do neutralizing antibody studies and don’t look at reinfections in a very healthy cohort. In fact the authors state this in the paper

“it is unclear how these antibody levels correlate with protection against future SARS-CoV-2 infections, particularly with emerging variants”

It is important to know that scientists are still debating what antibody or antibody levels constitute immunity especially now with omicron. An antibody level may protect against the original strain of the virus but provide no protection against delta and especially against omicron. This is why the FDA has warned against interpreting an elevated SARS-CoV-2 antibody level (either spike, RBD, or Nucleocapsid) as meaning you have any immunity.

I spoke with someone today about @SweetasSoda and they said that she was supposed to go to the Dr today for Covid. Said her husband had it as well. She was talking about going to a Dr a week or so back? Just thought I’d share this info, might send up a prayer on their behalf. If she’s decided to go to the Dr, I’m a little concerned

one of my family members, who is immuno-compromised has covid. boostered. but this is the one i've feared most due to partial pulmonectomies on both sides. id appreciate a prayer or two.

Thank you so much. I hope your daughter gets better soon. I've been so meticulous in trying to avoid covid because I'm terrified of what the potential consequences could be for OH since he's already very sick. I think (hope) I will emerge from it fine bc I'm in relatively good health but you never know how your body is going to react to these things. I can only hope that whatever we've picked up, if it is covid (and it probably is), that it's a weak strain. I will never forgive myself if after all this me giving him covid is what kills him.

Trying to avoid Covid forever was a pipe dream, so please don't feel bad, it was inevitable unless you live on a deserted island or in a bubble.

there is a certain logic to waiting to get it. one, vaccine. second, it's weakened.
