Coronavirus (No politics)

It's beyond time. The republic of Canada still seems to be grasping at whatever power they can here at the end.
Was necessary prior, with 3/4 of world masking and other 1/4 not, rampant numbers, and experts saying everyone is going to get this.

It prob is time. We are doing everything as normal. There are some functions I choose not to do but, Covid is probably a wise excuse for something I really deep down, didnt wanna do anyway

I work at a SNF and we double mask….. N95 with a surgical mask/ eye protection over top of it and 125 plus still caught it when we had the big outbreak…. Not sure masks made much of a difference…..

Covid was always going to get who it got...and now it will continue doing that until time ends...just at a far slower pace.

Masks are and always were useless...and these crazy travel restrictions are literally denying freedom to people.

I don’t think mask are useless as they at least block a certain percentage. It’s not some full proof fix though. I think people that are sick wearing a mask out in public is helpful to an extent. I don’t think those that are not sick should be forced to wear one though. Do at your own choice. I just try to keep my distance from people. If I wore a mask before it was in tight big crowds before I was vaccinated. I was never really worried about covid for myself but it sure is scary to see people around you on in same area have serious stuggles
With it. It is such an odd virus that some it does nothing to and some families it tears apart. I know of one person during delta that last lost 6 immediate family members I mean just brutal
What some people are going through

Children should not get this vaccine unless they are seriously at risk. It's absurd to suggest

The effectiveness of ivermectin may be in dispute but the safety is not. It's used worldwide on people to great results. It's why the creator got the Nobel prize

This is not just COVID-19 vaccine — it’s all childhood vaccinations.

Funny how you don't call out the other guy who has routinely posted old, incorrect or discredited info. Also don't call out the guy who is an actual Dr saying the same things
You make an asinine statement about kids getting the vaccine as absurd, then expect some blowback. You do you, and I’ll do me

Retraction to: Meta-analysis of Randomized Trials of Ivermectin to Treat SARS-CoV-2 Infection

excerpt:

On July 6, 2021, Open Forum Infectious Diseases published the article “Meta-analysis of Randomized Trials of Ivermectin to Treat SARS-CoV-2 Infection” by Hill, et al. Subsequently, we and the authors learned that one of the largest studies on which this analysis was based was withdrawn due to fraudulent data; additional problems have emerged regarding other studies included in the original paper. An editorial Expression of Concern was first published under this record as the authors revised their analysis for resubmission.

The authors submitted and published a corrected version of the analysis with commentary on assessing trial quality while creating meta-analyses, available to read in OFID: “Ivermectin for COVID-19: Addressing Potential Bias and Medical Fraud” by Hill et al., Ivermectin for COVID-19: Addressing Potential Bias and Medical Fraud. The original analysis has been retracted.
