Coronavirus (No politics)

US has now tested by far the most for coronavirus. I think the number is closer to 1 million as several states don't publish private lab tests.

Im going to try not to get too political here. The ban on Chinese flights delayed the inevitable. The time spent afterwards preparing for what was coming was clearly squandered. To say it saved thousands on the same day deaths hit the first 1000 in under a month of the first reported case is simply absurd.

Viruses don’t recognize boarders.

There are other variables....viruses don't recognize borders but they definitely know seasons so pushing it back could definitely help if say those months were winter heading into spring.

Actor Mark Blum, known for his roles in the movies "Desperately Seeking Susan" and "Crocodile Dundee," has died due to complications from COVID-19, according to a statement released by the Screen Actors Guild. He was 69.

“This is a painful loss to our SAG-AFTRA family,” Gabrielle Carteris, SAG-AFTRA president said in a statement.

It will be out of the news by the end of the month.

Edit 3-15: Because a lot of people seem to be discovering g this thread and not really paying attention to the dates I wanted to clarify. I said this at the end of January. It was somewhat tongue in cheek. I did expect it to level off by the end of Feb but I was wrong. I did not expect it to get to the levels we have reached as of mid March. I have since become more concerned. Everyone should be taking this much more seriously. DONT PANIC. But head the warnings of health officials, CDC, and WHO.
This aged well
