Could be a 3 seed in CFP?

Here's who Tennessee football should root for to reach College Football Playoff (msn.com)

I don't disagree with this article, pretty much expected it.
Only thoughts is that LSU needs to lose and not win out to get in to the CFP
Still don't think they would take a 2 loss team to the CFP regardless of what happens.
I’m with you I don’t think they would take a 2 loss team as well. But just to be on the safe side, here’s to hoping GA beat LSU’S brains out in the SECCG. Never thought I would find myself typing those words but oh well.

This is a poorly thought out article. 90% of it makes no sense and is inaccurate.

Lolol @ LsU cOuLd JuMp ThE vOlS bY mAkInG iT tO tHe SeC cHaMpIoNsHiP gAmE eVeN iF tHeY lOsE tO uGa.

Ok. Sure. 😂
the fact that they say they WANT LSU to lose before the SEC championship game (which would diminish our win even further) tells you all you need to know about whoever wrote this “Microsoft” article 🤣
Everybody knows a 3 loss team is not going to a CFP playoff. After this weekend and locked in that LSU will go to the SEC Championship Game. Kelly is notorious for losing a game he should not but even if he does and Alabama Wins. LSU is still going to the Championship Game due to the tie breaker. So it is pretty much a wash.

You need to reread the Article. It did not say that about LSU so read the article instead of putting this BS out there that

LsU cOuLd JuMp ThE vOlS bY mAkInG iT tO tHe SeC cHaMpIoNsHiP gAmE eVeN iF tHeY lOsE tO uGa.

I will make it simple the article stated

"Going 10-2 and then upsetting Georgia in the SEC Championship Game would win favor for LSU, perhaps enough to jump over Tennessee. That debate will heat up if LSU keeps winning. But if LSU loses now, it would take that scenario off the table"

Hate to burst everyone's bubble but I'm worried to death about not being able to control our own destiny. The CFB PO committee has NEVER taken a P5 non-champion when there is a champion available.

Another reason I would not be surprised if Oregon leapfrogs UT. If not this week, then probably when they win their conference championship game.

Not true - both UGA and Bama got in last year so they took a UGA over a champion of another conference. Both Auburn and Alabama was selected as well for one year.

No I am not...Reread the article. Pretty Clear and you cannot dispute what is written. You can only change it to fit your scenario as you did above in your post.

The optimal words used were "Win the Conference Championship" in the article could possibly be "Perhaps Enough".

UGA was 12-0 and #1 when they PLAYED for the SEC.
Name the POWER 5 Conference Champion that that UGA jumped to make the PO last season...........we're waiting.
Auburn has never been to the CFB PO

My guess for tomorrow:
georgia
tosu
michigan
tcu
tennessee
oregon

next saturday, Texas beats TCU and Vols move to #4.
when Vols win out and TOSU beats Michigan, Vols move to #3. #4 will be whichever PAC 12 school that finishes with only one loss.

100% agree with this

Looks like we’ll all be cheering for the wrong Orange at the other UT this weekend right?
I’ve been thinking that the viewership for the Texas vs TCU game will be very interesting to see. Won’t be surprised to see the Knoxville area with the second highest viewers outside of DFW.

Very logical scenario. Only issue is you are using logic! Emotion / politics often trumps logic. On the upside the committee thus far appears to be quite logical. Let’s just win the next three convincingly and the rest will take care of itself.
