Country music thread

Posted this before, but this is one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s an absolute masterpiece. RIP Hal Ketchum

I bought this 2 weeks ago and I can't stop listening to it. I recommend it to anyone that likes 70s-80s country music or fans of Willie Nelson. I've heard all these songs before but there's some duets and variations that were new to me.

Vinyl or CD?
CD

*I've thought about getting my mom and dad's old solid oak, stereo cabinet. It's got a record player, 8 track, and 2 10" subs in it. I remember it sounding so good when I was younger.
I can't believe vinyl has made this big of a comeback. Our local Walmart has a bigger record selection than CDs!

That is a very odd trio. While all had numerous hits in the 90s, they were rather different styles IMO
Yup. Kinda makes me want to go even more. Apparently it’s going to be a song swap type thing. Willis and White are kinda similar.

@Toujours Pret might block me and discredit everything I’ve ever said about country, but I actually really liked Bryan White. Liked all three really, but I thought White always had great lyrics.

I’m not too familiar with him (other than the song with Shania) but what I’ve heard is ok. I’m mostly a mark and wade fan.

Wow, those names brought back some memories of listening to the bus radio on my ride to and from middle school & high school.

He had like four #1s before that. This was his first.

I had to look these up hadn't thought of those guys in years.

This was my favorite Bryan White song.

Bryan White to me unquestionably was the biggest star of the group, but perhaps the furthest from my standards of what country is. His lyrics made it acceptable though. Still waiting on TP to blast me

I’m still dancing with you is hands down my favorite Wade song. Old enough to know better would be a close second.
lol I mean they are his two biggest hits.

The Day She Left Tulsa is better than both of those imo. I don't know any of his deep cuts though and that's where I typically find my favorites.

Idk I’m still dancing with you is a pretty well written song... if you like deep cuts this one is amazing as well. I don’t believe it was a single..
