I’m in the top 0.5% of Turnpike listeners. That might be sad really, but it’s 2020 so fug it.

69 genres. Turnpike, Pearl Jam, Jimmy Buffett, Pat, and Randy Rogers were my top 5. 7&7 was my number one song. Turnpike had 3 of the top 5

Mine I think is a little off. I listen to so much Isbell and James Taylor on vinyl. My iPod (yea yea) is wired into my car so I have Carbon Leaf, Pearl Jam and Pat Green playlists on it that still get a lot of play. And I’ve listened to Mike and Moonpies steak night and mockingbird cds a lot in my car.

I feel like it’s encouraging that we’re seeing Jamey featured on all of these songs. Hopefully it gets him back to writing and recording his own stuff.

I think he's not chasing anything. He's got enough loyalists with cash to spend to continue as he has done. Mass appeal isn't something he's after.

On that note I wish more artists would to the "Turnpike Model". Self produce and charge $50 to get into venues they like playing.


Also, laugh all you will, the lady wants to be married by Charley Crockett. And if you haven't watched his "I Wish I was Playing at Gruene Hall" you gotta see it. He was busking and giving out copies of his first album and a bird hunter from Talequah Oklahmoma grabbed one, then hunted him down to go on tour with the Turnpike Troubadours. And none of us would've heard of Charley had Evan not listened to that CD.

Wallen sounded awful on SNL. The audio mix was terrible and whatever that second song was needs to be destroyed forever

Never heard him sound “good” I like him personally, and he has one vol song that I like (only because it mentions the vols) but the dude just sucks lol
