I feel like we as music fans need to have a discussion: do artists charge too much for merchandise? I know it’s not technically the artist that is setting the price, it’s the managers, etc. but 90 dollars for two shirts and a hat is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when I didn’t even get the shirt I wanted. It was darker than hell in the venue so I didn’t see it when Whitey’s merch salesman handed it to me (she was hot as hell btw) and the number on the shirt was “B” she must’ve thought I said “M” because she gave me the M shirt.

Just like professional athletes and ticket prices, you’re worth what the market deems. Someone smart is figuring the best ROI prices and here we are.Its expensive, but merch is a huge income stream for a lot of acts now that music sales are non existent. Not justifying the price overall but it keeps the bus on the road and the driver paid
